The Ridgefield Rebels Travel division offers competitive teams in the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U age divisions. All of our coaches have coaching certifications from Babe Ruth League, Inc. and ASA Softball, as well as, are 1st Aid/CPR certified. Several of our coaches also are Connecticut State certified through the CIAC. All of our female coaches have played the game at high competitive levels in the high school and/or collegiate ranks.
Participation in Ridgefield Rebels Travel softball requires a deeper commitment from player and parents versus rec softball given the nature of the competitive nature of the sport of fastpitch softball.
We generally carry rosters of 12 players per team to maximize playing time throughout the season which is one of the reasons this commitment level is required, as it is with all other travel softball programs in the region.
Tryouts for the coming season will take place in August and early September. Details can be found on the home page of Ridgefield Girls Softball.
