The Recreational Softball Division (Rec or House) of Ridgefield Girls Softball has 4 age subdivisions, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U/14U all playing softball during the Spring season.

The overriding goals of Ridgefield Girls Softball and its two core divisions Ridgefield Tigers Travel and Ridgefield Rec/House are to enable players to learn and enjoy the game of fastpitch softball, improve on-field skills, grow as teammates, embrace good sportsmanship and healthy competition, and gain confidence.
 
The Rec/House division is an instructional division offering and introduction to softball in our younger age divisions (6U, 8U) through more advanced skills in our older age divisions (10U, 12U/14U).

 
Rec coaches have passed background checks and are required to be Safesport certified.  Parent volunteers are required to pass a standard background check.
