Q&A's

Q. How many tournaments do the travel teams compete in each season?
A. Approximately 5, with at least two of them local (Danbury, Bethel, etc.)

Q. How far away are the out-of-town tournaments?
A. Not more than 3 hours

Q. Is it feasible for my daughter to play multiple sports and also commit to a travel softball team?
A. We encourage girls to play multiple sports! Our fall and winter schedules are low key (usually one practice per week) allow the time for athletes to pursue other interests. Softball should take priority for spring and summer.

Q. Will there be more than one RGS travel team at the 10U and 12U levels?
A. Very possibly, depending on interest and tryouts.

Q. Which birthdays funnel into which levels?
A. Birth years 2012 & 2013 will play at 12U
Birth years 2014 & 2015 will play at 10U

Q. Are girls who live outside of Ridgefield eligible to play?
A. Yes, per town field use rules, each travel team is able to take up to two out of town players.

Q. Are uniforms included in the season fees?
A. Yes, each travel player will receive home, away, and practice jerseys, along with pants, socks, and a belt.
